Price range: £130.00 through £300.00
A vibrant, hand-painted digital portrait of your character!
These illustrations are created from scratch in Procreate software and finished in Photoshop. Using descriptions/references of your character(s) provided, paintings like these are ideal for bringing a wide variety of fantastical ideas to life! You’ll be able to give your input on the entire artistic process from start to finish – resulting in a beautiful, unique custom artwork.
How It Works
If you are a returning commissioner, feel free to place an order and then follow the link/reference upload instructions in your confirmation email to send me all the info needed. Otherwise, feel free to contact me to discuss your commission idea beforehand 😊
Once the commission has been agreed and payment received, I will prepare a rough draft image or sketch for your approval. After any revisions/tweaks, I will complete the underpainting (first draft of painting) and produce a colour draft image for your approval. When the final artwork is complete, you will receive a high resolution, 300dpi A4 size image file of your finished painting!
Revisions
During the sketch stage, you can request up to 2 major changes (change of pose, etc). Once approved, no further major changes are possible.
During the colour draft stage, you can request up to 2 minor changes (colour/lighting changes, etc).Â
After the painting is finished, you can request up to 1 minor change (small details adding/removing etc). Minor colour tweaks may also be possible if needed.
If more changes than the above are required at any point, there will be an additional fee per change.
Pose Type / Background Type
The price for custom paintings varies depending on complexity. You can choose a bust (shoulders-up), half body (waist-up) or full body (feet up) pose, or even supply your own pose!
A simple flat/soft colour background is included for all paintings, but if you’d like a specific type of scenery or background feel free to contact me to discuss. In general, simple backgrounds (nature, trees etc) cost £50 extra and complex backgrounds (buildings, architecture, elaborate furniture etc) cost £100 extra.
Payment
I can start work when the order has been approved and full payment has been received. For orders over £200, payment can be made in stages if this is preferable!Â
